CONFISSÕES DO LATIFÚNDIO: TERRA E TRABALHO NO CAMPO BRASILEIRO

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the historical formation of the land-labor-capital relationship, as founding elements of the Brazilian agrarian question and the production and reproduction of social inequalities. For that, we will return to some central historical facts such as: the colonial invasion, the constitution of the peasantry as a social class and the industrialization process in Brazil. We understand that the resumption of the categories of land, labor and capital are essential to studies on the countryside and the peasantry in Latin America, since the meanings of capitalist accumulation and expropriation are expressed in their past / present movements, being currently, agribusiness the most complex expression of capitalist accumulation.
