The environmental and civilizational crisis is present in our daily lives and has a global reach. At the beginning of the 21st century, these interrelated crises were termed the Anthropocene. The collective work coordinated by Gabriela D'Amico and María Zilio addresses, from the perspective of critical geography, the multiple facets of this concept and aims to develop diverse narratives that connect the history of humanity with the history of nature. Throughout the book, a series of problematic issues are analyzed, along with counter-hegemonic alternatives that stimulate debate on the functioning of the planetary system and different societal systems.
