This article explores the contemporary dynamics of production in large agricultural enterprises in Uruguay, focusing on the coexistence of centralized and flexible structures. Through an in-depth analysis of companies adopting flexible production models, it aims to understand the structural transformations in the agricultural sector within the context of the Uruguayan agribusiness. The study reveals that, although the flexible production model has grown significantly, it does not encompass all large-scale production. This allows for the identification of new business organizational forms that respond to mixed and adaptive logics.
