Gender, policies and INTA Extension Programs in Colonia Caroya and Colonia Tirolesa, Norte Cordobés. 1963-1973/ 2010-2020

Abstract

The thesis addresses, from a historical perspective and with a gender focus, the policies and programs promoted by the National Agricultural Extension Service (SNEA) belonging to the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) in Colonia Caroya and Colonia Tirolesa, Norte Cordobés in two periods, the first, between 1963 and 1973, and, the second, between 2010 and 2020.

This research becomes relevant since it gives an account of the sexual division of agricultural extension labor, within the Rural Extension Agency of Jesús María (AER JM) - between technicians, and abroad, between workers, rural producers and analyzes how this situation was replicated in Colonia Caroya and Colonia Tirolesa, Colón department,  The thesis addresses, from a historical perspective and with a gender focus, the policies and programs promoted by the National Agricultural Extension Service (SNEA) belonging to the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) in Colonia Caroya and Colonia Tirolesa, Norte Cordobés in two periods, the first, between 1963 and 1973,  and, the second, between 2010 and 2020.
