Abstract

The book ¡Nunca más esclavos! Una historia comparada de los esclavos que se liberaron de las Américas, by Aline Hegl, is a long-term review of all the strategies used by American slaves to achieve their freedom. The work aims to discuss with various authors who addressed the issue, making a comparative history “from below” on the different emancipatory methods used by those who suffered from the slave trade, relativizing the effectiveness of some and rescuing the advantages of others.

San Martín e/5 y 7, Pila, Provincia de Buenos Aires / Historia del mural: poder pintar murales en mi pueblo es gratificante. Este Mural en particular me sensibilizo porque el puente “El 80” esta declardo Patrimonio Histórico Cultural y se encuentra en el Partido de Pila, pero a mas de 70km de la ciudad: poder acercar la parte rural a la urbana me llenó el alma. Mientras lo pintaba, pasaba la comunidad y me decía que no conocia ese puente... otros me contaban alguna historia que había ocurrido allí.....muchos se sacan fotos... Revalorizar nuestro Patrimonio me incentiva a pintar mas murales en mi pueblo.
