LA HUELGA DE ESTUDIANTES EN LA ESCUELA PRÁCTICA DE AGRICULTURA Y GANADERÍA “LAS DELICIAS” (ENTRE RÍOS, 1918)

Abstract

At the beginning of the 20th century in Entre Ríos, provincial agrotechnical education was promoted, although the National Ministry of Agriculture, which organized a school in 1900, also participated. In this article, the institutional situation of the Las Delicias Practical School which was the framework of the student strike in 1918, is reconstructed to explain the reasons for it, among which the difficulties in school organization and the fragility of the national agricultural education policy were decisive. This allows to question whether this strike was a derivation of the student discontent that was developing in the university educational institutions of other provinces and secondary schools in the city of Paraná.Key words: agrotechnical education- professional education- student conflict- Entre Ríos Introducción
