Abstract

The article presents the experiences being developed in the province of Corrientes, particularly in the western region of Iberá, around practices of recognition and revitalization of Intangible Cultural Heritage (PCI). It is intended to account for the fundamentals and methodologies implemented, as well as to present the results so far achieved. These experiences are based on dynamizing methodologies of participatory practices in the processes of community identification and legitimization of the local cultural heritage in rural enviroment. It is carried out through actions implemented between the Culture Institute of Corrientes´Government and the Faculty of Arts, Design and Culture Sciences of the National University of the Northeast. (UNNE) and the local governments (Concepción del Yaguareté Corá, Mburucuyá, Loreto and San Miguel), by the hand of community actors participating in the proposal.
