This article analyzes a policy oriented at sustainable food production and territorial development, implemented in the peri-urban area of the city of Rosario (Santa Fe), in the period 2017-2019. We describe the context in which it arises, taking into account the relationship with the national policy aimed at family farming and local socio-environmental conflicts. From a socio-anthropological perspective, we will focus on the ways in which politics are “territorialized”, in relation to the daily experience of a group of small horticultural producers. In this way, the aim is to contribute to the knowledge of issues surrounding the role of family farming as a food supplier in the framework of agroecology in southern Santa Fe.Published
